Can’t have it both ways. Some people are just negative, complain whether there is lay-off or no-lay-off. These people need to look long and hard in the mirror.
I have been in Seagate IT for 15+ years. I am based in NRM and I am happy that finally we are doing work of value. We are doing real work, learning new technologies, and not just doing low end support work.
You're indispensable until you're not. I remember Ravi coming to our site last February/March after some not so great results and telling us all not to worry, then in July he laid off about 20% of IT in NRM.
Steady state? Maybe. I wouldn't trust any "assurances" Ravi or Mosely may toss your way. Based on the re-org, they seem to be in "manage the decline" mode.
IT is a support organization. With fewer users you need fewer IT personnel. Don’t underestimate the wrath of Ravi the Destroyer.
Yes agree...for once we seem to be on a good path, have moved to steady state. The naysayers will ruin it all.
What a bunch of losers...just go ask for a package and get the f— out. Who needs your negative energy?
Never a steady state with The Terrible One in IT. They seems to do it when others are not doing it.
Wait...we are not in September yet. Big one...
