Baylor Frisco Layoffs

Approximately 20 employees have had their positions terminated at BSW Frisco, Texas in May 2020. Of those 20, approximately 15 were Registered Nurses. The employees that were let go had been employed there for up to 17 years, were paid at the top of the pay chain and were older. These employees were called by HR and terminated immediately upon receipt of the phone call without any prior warning!

Layoffs Loom as Contract Transitions Rock Employees

Layoffs have commenced, fueled by the imminent expiration of the five-year contract with ATOS, effective October 2025. A new, three-year agreement with HCL has been secured, yet this transition has plunged long-tenured employees who remained with BSWH throughout the outsourcing into panic.
A critical lack of information and transparency plagues the process. Employees face the devastating loss of accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) and a drastic decrease in pay. Furthermore, all prior years of service are being disregarded, effectively nullifying their tenure.
Employees transferring from ATOS to HCL are being pressured to sign contracts immediately, with minimal, if any, upfront information regarding critical benefits.
