I think not. GM walked away, they had no GM Brands in Europe so it was easy to walk away . The Unions in Europe make it almost impossible to file for Bankruptcy so GM tosses the EU the keys and said good luck we’re outta here. Ford on the other hand has more to lose their Brands are in Europe, they can’t walk away
Wait, the people voted their opinion, the UK is not part of Europe. Keep the european operations, but Ford should consider closing everything in the UK. Tiny insignificant island, small local market.
Import and export across the channel will soon become very complex, which will likely impact the already unprofitable FoE operations.
