Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Protest

Now would be a good time to protest this company we work for. No matter what goes on in the country we still show up for work and do our job, and they just keep sh–ting on us at every turn.

After getting s__t on for 10 years I'm out. The powers that be are just plain evil, and their management style reflects hearts and minds full of poison, from the very top on down to individual facility directors. I've always (mostly) got along well with my immediate supervisors, but their hands are tied when their boss tells them to start stomping balls or risk losing their jobs.

I'm still gonna keep buying that stock though fellas, I've gotta get situated to buy a really nice boat at 60 lol...

As “they” said, just be glad you have a job. “They” don’t care what you’re out of. Just care about the 10th and 25th of each month until it ends.

I know the managers read this board vigorously and I just want you to know we're out of gloves, lanterns, and batteries in Avondale. Also, the toilet is overflowing.

Agreeing to work some place doesn’t give the employer free reign to treat their people how ever they want. They agreed to the same sh–, but yet they are safe at home . The headquarters building gets tore up and they work from home. So why don’t they man up and get in the sh– with the rest of us and be a leader instead of a b—s— bunch of cowards!

I wish the protesters would stop. We were just starting get past the Coronavirus thing, and now the roots and looting. Waly and Target is closing stores. That will make car loadings drop further, and we all know what that means.

Just because 37 million are out of work don’t give them the right to f— is over! We went to work on 9/11 and got sh– done. We didn’t stay home with our families. We have went to work through hurricanes, tornados, floods, extreme cold and heat. We have had to deal with dead bodies on the track. Go into neighborhoods and work in areas the police don’t even want to go into. We worked through west Nile, H1N1, Coronavirus. We are still going to work and getting it done through all that is going on right now. So f— you if you don’t think we have earned the right to be treated fair and decent and told the damn truth for once!!!

I know a lot of employees feel the same you do. Every person is waiting for the next person to do it because they don’t want the heat. Until someone with some courage to do so, we will never succeed in sending the company a message. They know it and we do too, our voices fall on deaf ears.
