Nonsense statement by Ryan.
Where is the racial equality in your own company?
Does a review of the ELT, and other levels below indicate that there are no qualified minorities in COP that can advance?
I call BS.

Drilling organization must take a look at itself with respect to diversity. It has some serious problems with diversity.
Drilling is the final frontier for the white man. An executive once said that. Goes to show where oil and has priorities lie. You should all be ashamed of this industry.

Yes, COP should be a meritocracy.
Diversity is not a reason to promote or advance any employee.
However,, I challenge you to say that COP is a meritocracy, because that would be a big fat lie and load a crock.
I personally know of folks that have been promoted into senior positions and know diddly squat about what they are doing.
Give me a break.
Diversity means thinking like and doing exactly what everyone around you is. Otherwise you’re not a team player and not inclusive.
The thing about diversity is the most diversity you can ever have is based on individuals, because we are all unique, and thus diverse. Once you group people, you have taken away their identity and thus limited diversity in that group of people. Anyway, good luck everyone.
It is spelled hypocrisy but perhaps spelling just as truth does not matter anymore.
The company has been working diversity issues for 40 years. The results speak for themselves. No matter who’s in charge, they care for themselves. But they like the round table discussions to help keep the masses quiet.
@3qdk+15fDDVih
That’s exactly my point.
Where are minorities in the food chain?
There are lots of minorities at ConocoPhillips. Why do you say they are not qualified to advance?
I love Round Table discussions. You always end up right back where you started.
OWM probably make the best decisions but not the OWM we have
Old, white, men always make the best decisions when it comes to leading an oil & gas company.
