I'm not taking sides on this, I've been laid off before and it does sting but for those of you posting on this site at least show that you're fairly educated and know the difference between their and there and they're, whether and weather, accept and except, you're and your, know and no etc. When I read the lack of literacy in some of these posts its a wonder some of you were ever able to obtain gainful employment.

Not going to happen to me. I got one foot out the door. Have an offer for $13K more and better benefits and an OK relocation package. Big plus is no more private school for the kid. Just trying to shore up the logistics of a move. Hate to move so far from extended family but $13K+ tuition buys enough plane tickets.
No real skin off my back. Like I said all the ones that left around me were just increasing the carbon dioxide levels in the building and had retired on the job years ago. I was doing most of the work anyway. No one else around to take credit for it these days. So id say it’s been an improvement. Now if you could just remove 70% of the management we might get something done instead of doing pointless things to make management appear as great thought leaders

Well then Mr. E9 Did things get easier for you minus the 699? From what I hear it hasn’t been a fairytail and no one is feeling too secure over there that I know of. Didn’t see many jets flying around yet and it looked like they may be piling up out back when I drove by there the other day. But downturn in your business can’t possibly be the reason anyone was let go.
No new leaf. I’m just not petty enough to criticize spelling, grammar or punctuation. Still think if people were on point and staying at the top of their game they wouldn’t be on here thinking they were somehow entitled to a job because they managed to s— up air at GAC for XX amount of years. They’d just take their gracious severance and move on to the next battle or still be there. But folks seem to be looking for a back pat and revenge on GAC for feeding them for decades here. So, I’ve moved on. Lots of victims on here. :)
Btw OP your punctuation is all jacked up. Your first sentence is definitely a run on and you should have a comma before the word “but”. Until you can write properly, I advise that you leave everyone alone! I’m surprised that YOU got a job with those terrible writing skills and horrible attitude.

Please respect the grammar and language rules. I believe you meant to say: "You are an id–t". I implore you to learn when and how to use "a" and "an". Also, be aware of the exceptions to the rule.

You had to be that guy. It doesn't bring anything to the table, beside pissing off people even more in this tough situation. The frustration of reading bad grammar/vocabulary is understandable, but creating a topic just to point your finger at people will add more gas in the fire.
