I reported multiple instances of highly illegal and highly unethical behavior and NOTHING happened. I spoke to legal and HR- they have ZERO power. As soon as my supervisor and that monster’s boss found out I reported it, the bullying only got worse and I had no support. I was threatened with being written up and told to find a new job- just like so many of you on here. The retaliation just worsened. Your one and only solution is hiring an attorney. Keep your head down, send out your resume, document everything (like a coworker warned me my first week there) and hire an attorney. They know exactly how far they can push things to their favor without ever being held accountable. They’ve been sued - and have been threatened with lawsuits- so many times. If you have a valid case, you’ll have no problem finding an attorney. I wish I would have tried harder to find a way to record conversations via WebEx- that would have been awesome for the whole world to hear how they treat and speak to their employees. Not sure if anyone saw the LinkedIn post about the gentleman who worked overseas for Optum? I believe in the Philippines? He essentially took to LinkedIn to warn everyone how bad UHG is and how they’ll try to take your pay after giving appropriate notice and turning back in your equipment. They’re certainly making a name for themselves! SO EMBARRASSING!
