Think about it we are #1 with best numbers, quality, production. Thats why we will have no layoffs in shop. This shop is history and will be classified as biggest in world. Without north platte UP would be worse.

Any word when these layoffs hitting North Platte yet. Just been storing and storing.
We have the most numbers of employees in system almost 270 machinist alone. So without work what are chances they will close shop in NP temporarily. Heard they might be in the screening process of laying off in June. Anyone else hear this? Also heard either east or west shop will close down and employees bump into shop. Please only serious rumors allowed

furloughed to be recalled just let go with no need to wait for a call.
We really are the answer to ALL of UPs problems. I mean, we had 2 releases in a 2 day stretch recently and only 1 of them came back to the shop. Its amazing how amazing we are. If these other shops want to stay open they better start doing sh– like we do it. The only reason most employees outside of North Platte have a job is because we allow it. Time to bow down and give us thanks you ungrateful losers.
