Does anyone know how to continue UI benefits, GAC only filed 2 weeks? Package is still with lawyer. Do we file again for ourselves?

Unemployment is still not showing up for me as of Friday, May 29th for last week. I hope GAC didn't screw up. They were not supposed to file for us too and yet they did. Is there a way to see if it was denied?
My analysis is that it is clear age discrimination. Guys my job title and age group were many times more likely to get the axe than younger guys. The data they gave me in my packet proves it. Question is given they dumped us in what is shaping up to be a depression, can I afford to not take their blood money to fight for what is right?
I’m such a sap. I was so loyal to this company. I can’t tell you how many times I saved people’s butts when parts were bad and aircraft were grounded with unhappy customers screaming on the horn. I believe in karma, and GAC is in a karma deficit.
What's your lawyer think of the severence offer? It seems pretty straight and forward to me. I know some folks are talking "Age Discrimination", but my department was pretty senior as a whole, so don't know if that dog'll hunt for me.
Me too (can't seem to file, and I've gotten two payments so far). Although Memorial Day is delaying stuff. So maybe tomorrow?
I tried to file yesterday and got a pop-up that my employer had already filed for me, but haven't gotten a payment since 05/22/20.
They filed for us last week. I would recommend you to check and file yourself every sunday just to make sure. GDOL says that it won't hurt to file, worst case they deny the claim if you were not supposed to do it...
