Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Did any country avoid layoffs?

From what I can see here, this truly was a worldwide cut. Is there any place around the globe where IBM didn't end up laying at least some people off?

Lay-off in GTS hit Europe in Feb and t2r continued through April. None of the fat was cut and the employees, disproportionately young employees, suffered greatly.

It is extremely difficult to do layoffs in many European countries - German and France are 2 where I know this is true - so they may not have been impacted. Someone on this thread may know otherwise.
