Some managers just don't their report regardless how smart or hard-working he is. It is bias decision to let go based only on manager's opinion
that's certainly the case. I have had to deliver bad news to people several times in the past cycles too, and it's only upon the manager to choose whom to terminate. There is no specific name given from above unless an employee fails a school or has plenty of D-ratings, which is also evaluated by the same manager. The 2nd or 3rd level managers do not care about whom, they only care how many, are terminated.
I've personally tried to use my best judgment, but you can never be fully objective. and I know some people keep their useless buddies by justifiying it one way or another, which is almost never challenged.
'Yea' Unfortunately many of us fools bought the SLB b—s— hook, line & sinker & drank Kool-Aid along with 'gas' SLB injected into our brains every day we walked into a facility & had to listen to Bonus bosses in Rock Springs like Jay 'Lie' thru their teeth–never again B–ch-at 28yrs old I have other opportunities with a 2yr degree in business; I can throw Iron with best of them but we's done with Slumberger. 🤜😘😜🤛
Everybody knows this, the truth is finally coming out.
If you haven't learned by adulthood that when it comes to layoffs that you needed to s— up to your managers all along, your parents failed you.
