Why no layoffs or furloughs? Because management has just stuck their collective finger up their you know what and are busy smelling it!! I guess it apparently smells good
Job market is hot If you have talent. Businesses that can see beyond their nose are scooping up talent from businesses who cannot. If you’ve been retired on the job at GAC for a decade or so, I’d be worried. If you haven’t been, why haven’t you left already?
Good luck. The job market is lean right now.
GD will announce second quarter earnings on July 29th. Thats when we will know when the next RIF is coming.
I can control my next career move and not wait to be laid off. That’s why I come here. There is an uptick just before a cut. This uptick is helping me clarify my timeline. I’m not sitting around waiting to get fired boohooing about it being out of my control
paranoid and hopeful people are... waste of energy on something you cant control
It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.
Maybe closer to or after GDs conference call later this month.
Calm before the storm.
