Staggered announcements will be used to communicate that layoffs will be based on needs of geographical locations not based on individual offices. There are 3 categories that employees will fall under:
Group 1. Non-essential “redundant” positions are first positions to go.
Group 2. Employees in offices that meet or exceed staffing levels. These employees will be most heavily combed via the assessment. If you have a positive PDS for the last 2 years you should have hope, if you are new or do not, study up. Over staffed offices will be significantly affected.
Group 3. “Safe” employees. Think software engineers, directors, COO, CEO etc.
Everyone should expect to receive the assessment at this point. Timelines and specific dates are ever evolving and changing due to leakers of this information. The June 10th town-hall will not be uploaded, this town-hall directly contradicts what was said only a few weeks later.
