I hope Tom, Glenn, Julie, Carla, and the rest of the millionaires who would be curled up crying in the fetal position after taking a customer call are sleeping well tonight. I know a lot of us regular folk who actually provide worth to this company are having another sleepless one. Prayers and good vibes to you all.

I worked for a Allstate and I thought I was fairly happy. Then I left and it was the best decision I ever made. Now that I see who they really are, I am so thankful for deciding to leave. There is life after that horrible company. You all deserve to work for a company that you are proud of. Good luck to everyone.
Honestly - this whole limbo has put my morale down and is emotionally draining. Not only are they sending mixed signals, but it’s constantly being delayed for who’s benefit exactly? I could care less about their reporting profits. National General was purchased, and yet layoffs are still in the works. How does this make any sense? I want to be able to receive a response that will allow me to move forward with life. I’m tired of being stringed along. We deserve answers.
My wife, as I am sure many others in Allstate, has worked nights and weekends poring over her laptop doing Allstate work for over 30 years. Tom Wilson and his merry band of mental and physical midgets has taken a once proud company and destroyed it while stripping benefits, salary increases, and health coverage. As a group, they have shown their ineptitude by the manner in which they are handling this round of RIF's. Everyone knows that there are layoffs coming, just freaking get on with it so the people who made this company can make decisions for their families. It is unconscionable to leave the entire group of employees twisting in the wind. you have closed down 14 Regional offices, that's a good start for informing people that their lives have been turned upside down but let them get on with their post Allstate lives already. This entire board needs to go!
