It seems like everyone being rehired is the worst of the worst. Lazy,unproductive, young id–ts that have no drive or motivation, management really s—s at there choices of rehires, you would think corporate hr would look at these employees work records,

I work for another company and were struggling to bring ppl back. I think every rental car company having this issue ...so I imagine being bankrupt good employees arent coming back
Anyone witht talent will not return to a financially and morally backrupt company. Why go nack to be let go again when nertz shuts its doors for good in 6 montha.
Most likely those rehired are the only ones who will return to the bankrupt company. The truly talented will most likely (and should) move on.
Corporate HR does not want superstars.
They want employees that do not know about labor laws.
The qualified employees will challenge things that are not right.
They want to cover up the unethical and toxic work culture.
