Inexperienced associates to do inventory? Why not hire an auditing/inventory company? It can’t be because of cost, paying a store full of associates $10-$20 an hour to do a half a– job? And all the mistakes and recounts? Oh my goodness and then don’t forget after reconciliation the number comes back an there is a $500,000 shortage or something insane. What’s the real reason belk won’t hire a. Outside company??? Makes you say hmmmmm....

Macy’s hires an outside company to do inventory, doesn’t belk copy everything from Macy’s?
The associates will always be inexperienced because of the turnover.

Dude, will you drop the corporate shill thing. It's really tired. The purpose of this site is to inform, not be critical of individuals. Either get some new material, or go away. P.S. you obviously haven't worked with some of these outside inventory companies if you think they can do a better job.
