Any health events by those hit since last Friday? I hope not. Lot's of your co-workers care. Not as much from the elitists bad decisions makers who brought us this layoff plague. Hang in there folks.

“Dead Peasant” insurance AT&T communications. “Dead Peasant” insurance gets its name from Winn Dixie stores. The company bought life insurance policies on 36,000 employees. But those employees never knew.

The company listed itself as the beneficiary. The insurance brokerage firm that placed the policies prepared two memos describing the deceased employees as “dead peasants.”

Now you know the Truth and nothing but the Whole Truth. You won't get flowers from T.

Its a damn shame honestly. I hate the fact T employees face this month in and month out. We pay for the decisions that are made at the top, and they veil it in the "believe" and you matter garbage. It's pathetic really and at the end of the day, it's plain bullying to get the "CEO" emails about job cuts every month.

A friend had a stoke at work one morning. Missed back to back calls and no one checked to see if their coworker/employee was ok. Spouse found later that day slumped over desk. Value your family first.

It actually happened a few years back. A male employee in his fifties was so stressed weeks before the layoff. He knew most likely he be laid off because his manager did not like him. Within a few hours of being laid off he had a heart attack and died. His wife informed T that she wanted no employees to attend his wake or funeral and no fake sympathy card from T. Another women was laid off and a few weeks later hung herself in the investment house garage, because she knew that financially she was going to lose everything. Per T remember “You Matter”

I do.
Thankfully my husband is still an AT&T employee as of today. He received a call from his direct manager to advise him that his position is safe.
I felt immediate relief and then cried for a half hour for all of those who are now unemployed.
Have a heart. Have Empathy. These are good things to have even though sometimes it hurts so much.

Ratty don't care. Stinky don't care. Actually, they kind of enjoy it.
