Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Musical Chairs

Carriers have been a constant game of musical chairs for the past 10 years. If you've been let go, count your blessings. ATT eats you live from the inside out as you fear loosing the golden handcuffs that keeps up a house of cards. Let the house fall, get your confidence back, free yourself of the paycheck or rule of 75, and start enjoying your work day again. I got let go in January and couldn't be happier with moving on. If you got laid off, you will be too. Sometimes, getting dumped is a blessing.

Don’t let the company devalue you. Just because they are running the ship into the ground doesn’t mean you aren’t fully capable. Look at your strengths then decide what you want to do next. Go for it, and don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do.

Any tips that you have would be appreciated. Being from the old EDS days, I have not looked for a job in 35 years but still under 60. I want to enjoy my job again. Thanks.
