Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

Well...now what?

As the smoke clears, NEI has restructured itself to be fun $40bbl company. Will it make it? How will consolidating management to HOU go, when most of the work and profit come from CO? (Not well, i predict).

The future for Noble is not good. The unconventional assets loose money. If it were not for the international assets Noble would be in bankruptcy. They have consistently proven that they cannot grow the company through acquisitions or through exploration. From this point on it is just managing the depletion of existing assets. Noble will transition into harvest mode, get smaller, and eventually be bought by another company, unless they change there strategy.

Consolidating people to Houston?Didn't seem to work last time they tried it. Now with the pandemic going on, it seems even more pointless.

Remember when DS claimed Noble would be a $70 billion company by 2018? LOL! That never happened. Nor with this.
