FINALLY received my severance package today! Sooo... Any jailhouse lawyers have any suggestions on how to proceed next? Am I responsible to declare this to the DOL? Do I just not file for a claim this week (and/or subsequent weeks)? Any input/ideas?

If you answered yes to anticipating receiving severance and anticipated amount and date when you think you will get it why would you have to claim it again?
Ya don’t try to outsmart the DOL. they will figure it out and make you pay it back.
Be honest with the DOL. Do the right thing, take no more money than you are entitled to, communicate with DOL, and read the Claimant Handbook, because it is surprisingly thorough.
I love the blatantly obvious attempt to bury post that speaks the truth. You guys are too predictable so we see right through it. Just stop with the fake severance and DOL nonsense.
