Never seen a company where the employees dislike where they work more than at AIG. After a couple years of tenure, I can say with certainty I agree with them.

The people that are hiring probably do not know that the office is being shut down! That's the way that AIG works, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
They’re still hiring in Brentwood. It makes no sense if they’re leaving altogether.
