HDi was impacted
Apparently MMS has some services that other carriers don't provide and they are now going to be focusing on the cost of having those services and the value versus not. Not sure what that means but that is what I heard. Apparently some services are coordinated by MMS/WC Claims that could just be referred out by an adjuster. Not sure what exactly that means but that is what I heard.
The Medical Management Services lost about 45 employees this week. I heard that this new alignment is being put in place and will be reevaluated in Sept. There is speculation that more RIF's will occur in late September.

What does MMS stand for? Sorry, I'm just a typical clueless employee who knows barely anything about the industry because managers don't know how to effectively educate, train and lead their employees towards success the same say they were when they joined the company in its "Glory Days" as they describe it
Dumb question possibly since I don’t k ow the acronyms—is hdi going to be impacted or is that separate from MMS?
What the heck is going on? It looks like we are shutting down everything! Why they just do it instead of torturing us. They are rich enough - when will they stop - they ate destroying too many lives.
