Why on earth would anyone working for a large company think they are "someone special" and will never get laid off? Because of your qualities? Because of what you bring to the table? For everyone of us, there are 10 more waiting to take our place, some will even do it cheaper.
Unless you work for a small company or mom & pop company YOU will always be just a number! Been that way for decades!
I lost my job last week still I am in shock but not surprise I saw many people thru the years just warming the chair while somebody else did the job and of course then take credit for job done. The sad part is my own fault I saw it coming and didn’t want to accept I was just a number when the “ management “ could make the numbers work
A lot of bad and stupid decisions. They never will put a face to that number. Now I am on square one again; with more years and no hope.

@5ppu+15QzlYCg In case you didn't know, this site is made up of a group in the tower. It's a bunch of young clowns that are all mouth and know nothing of value. They whine and complain about everyone and swear by their all mighty god MC. Everyday they start a new rumor and try to convince working people like you that you should quit and find a new perfect job. (if you quit, their job is saved). Don't believe a single thing you read here from tower, they are just scared little girls. Listen to the field hands and your co-workers, they are indeed more trust worthy.

this is an anonymous board, you should be more upset at the people that let go of these 'talented' people.
I'd like to know the clown who said that they got rid of people in fleet care and sales, nobody worth keeping. There was some good talent in both groups, FYI !!!
