Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Can someone tell me what we are doing to save Hertz?

Other than a lot less employees I have seen and heard zero actions towards turning things around. More deliveries? Layoffs? Not sure if now is the time to keep announcing promotions. At the higher lvel managers there has been zero change in their daily routines. Same weekly calls threatening our jobs. Sounds like the courts have really tied oour hands on our spend. News articles report creditors arepretty fed up and want their cash. Paul stalling as much as he can. Come on someone stepup and be the hero. Stop being a "yes" man/woman and tell Paul "What the F###?"

There is no saving Hertz. The debt is too much for them to overcome and the lack of revenue will continue as travel will not return to normal levels for at least 2 years. The business cannot survive as costs per unit continues to rise and RPD continues to decline. Not the formula for success

Superman not walking through that door. Hertz is too big brand not to survive but it will most likely be bigger airports. Might do lot more franchises save cost and sell off HLE.

Let's make it clear.
The company is now owned by small stockholders. No major owner.
And the bankruptcy court is the one deciding about our future.
The "leaders" will not come up with an idea that is a revolution. They will just to basic management: balance the finance, try to negotiate loans, try to keep the employees still onboard believe they will have a bright future.
Then chances are that Hertz will be acquired. Maybe by a competitor (Sixt), a car manufacturer, or someone that will dismantle the company to generate cash.
In the meantime, in order to balance the finance the company will drastically shrink its fleet, network and staff. They will not target to have the same position in the industry. They'll target to be a medium actor that generate profit rather than a number 3 global company that keeps on losing money year after year.
There is no alternative.
A few will temporarily save their job, the majority will be fired.
One thing is sure: Hertz is not a family, it is a business with leaders that are paid to make profit. The rest is BS for naive employees.
Make sure you know your roots, who you are and where you want to go.
You're the only one in charge of your life.
