Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Teams in a meeting were told that our jobs are safe and that everyone on the call’s jobs were safe. However, not even ten minutes later on the call, leadership retracts their words and says that they can’t make guarantees and that they hope to not have to make any more cuts. A whole team in our department was cut and we only found out indirectly, not from leadership. A direct coach of ours was laid off and they are telling us she is “out” for the day. Our department is working in fear and in a hostile work environment since we found out about the lay offs and leadership is anger that were speaking up.
