They are continuing to lay people off during the pandemic. This is so sad given they are listed by the President as a company to create masks and vents so you know they have money backing their business.
What's worse is their workforce reduction was their high level performers.

they are replacing the overpaid engineers who are just managing simple tasks which can be given to entry level engineers
ResMed laid off over 50 individuals in July 2020. Their core business top-line revenue has been affected by the closure of diagnostic sleep labs, which is the conduit in which individuals get tested and then get onto treatment. This financial impact on the business influenced RMD to reduce staff to and merge business units to mask financial losses....think Wall Street. RMD had the ability to hold onto its employees given its healthy balance sheet but instead decided to cut staff and operate lean. During COVID, you would hope that a company like this would have higher scruples to not take the actions they did. Shame on ResMed....the culture is changing for the worse.
They are still laying people off. Now they are hiring for the same jobs they just laid people off from.
