Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

EDS it's not the answer

Low-skill , high volume, highly repetitive, LCC low-cost center is not the answer

So in answer to your question is

Either get into a skill/education that is highly paid.

Or a business that is highly leveraged with bank money.. like real estate

If you can do both like SpaceX or Tesla or some vaccine manufacturing or ventilator manufacturing then that is probably the best

Somehow EDS was getting computers for free zer0 markup and they were still losing money

Listen to what the executive said they said that customers were great but they never said EDS had great operations great services

If you think CSC buying eds was a merger at 50 cents on the dollar you are delirious.

Rightly or wrongly, I was devoted to DXC - rooted in 29 successful years starting with EDS. It had been at times exhilarating but ultimately became an uphill climb. Work became unfulfilling, unrewarding, and ultimately soul-s—ing. Living through the immense talent drain (voluntary and WFRs), the customer churn, lack of investment and abysmal morale finally did me in. Decided last year to move on at 52. Landed a good job at a top firm, enjoying a nice raise and - a renewed focus on my career, the market, and personal growth. I feel once again like I matter. My advice: take life into your own hands. Steer your own ship. There are companies and people who need you and your talents.

Mike Lawrie and Jo Mason were WFR'd from the shid show and happily in retirement. Meanwhile goes from weakness to weakness. About time that all the BS tools were retired such as Bionix, PPMC, Workday and all the useless layers of management too.

Seriously look at you there, blaming one another. The only person responsible for the utter failure of DXC is Mike Lawrie. He squeezed every last drop of blood by b—s—ting customers and markets as if there was not going to be any tomorrow. Indeed tomorrow came and the true value of a company that makes nothing has now emerged. DXC has no knowledge left, no expert workforce left, no capabilities nor abilities to make anything at all other than ridiculous claims to be the best at everything. You should try the thrill of going out there and try to sell sh*t and expertise that doesn't exist. Not fun, I promise you.

CSC, HPE Services, EDS, all failed company's. You mix a bowl using shid, you end up with shid.

I love these posts; you realise that the ex-CSC people work for the same basket case of a company as the ex-EDS people

I get it you come from EDS and you're proud of being on a losing team

EdS was a fire sale take it or leave it

There are still too many EDS managers around just get rid of them

EDS had 41 layers of management how does this make any sense you got promoted every year we're doing nothing

CSC and HPE services segment merged - people who still think EDS are in stone age. We have too many of these guys and that is the problem.
