Many of my co-workers have been layed off today, waiting on my scheduled call later today where I expect to get the ax too. So very sad..company started going down hill the minute Sycamore private equity bought them. Tears for all my co-workers.....all higher level management were awful.

Layoffs are happening across the company in corporate . From visual to buying to design to tech
I saw some from hr at hq
Things are bad. I just got off my call and was laid off with little explanation of how the company is doing. It was a scripted layoff and I could tell he was ready a prewritten response. Belk is really going down and fast.
What departments are laying off at corporate?
They need to be honest and tell everyone how f—ed up everything is, it is way worse then people even know, they are hiding a lot of things.
