Heard they RIFed a few in Customer Support and Tech Support.
JW is busy practicing town halls and STRAP Plans in the mirror for the next couple of weeks. Then a meeting with Finance on restructuring cost and signing up for stretch goals.
Layoffs are happening across all of SPS, small for now I believe, but it has been strongly suggested that it is going to getting messy in the next quarter. There are a hell of a lot of bad decisions being made by SPS leadership at the moment and the fallout of that will hit hard next year.
It looks like SPS is the only unit that has any chance of making any money for the masters. Doesn't mean that there won't be layoffs. From what I've heard, there have been layoffs of support folks. Now I guess I'll have to schedule an appointment to get paper and staples.
They got at least one - me. There are a couple of good, much younger people at hubs in my succession plan, so I knew it was just a matter of time.
