Tell that to all people who are kicked out these days, to stop being negative. And around me all people who are on redeployment lists are not some lazy schmucks, they are are all smart and hardworking folks with lot of accumulated knowledge and experience.
I had 5 people in my mini team, now it is only 2 left, with expectation that project stays on track and does not get impacted. Guess what - both remaining guys are now p-ss-d off and looking for the jobs outside, and as soon we find something good they will be gone.
And I am sure same is happening in every team in every country.
