So let's think about this. Gap is glorifying and collaborating with Kanye, a man who proudly bragged about stealing from a Gap Store when he was a teenager. A man who thinks he is the second coming of Christ. An egomaniac who clothes have no aesthetic and look like rags. And they think this guy will pull us out of the mess we are in?? Wow, unbelievable!

Well that didn't work out, did it?
Product is trash
Kanye sells well.
Anyone here who is/was on the Kanye side of the operation? I'm a reporter, trying to figure out some things. If so you can DM me on Twitter at @cam_joseph.
This thing stinks of complete desperation. Cancelling Telfar for a collaboration with an controversial unstable egomaniac. His troubles go far beyond having bipolar disorder. Big money got no soul!
It’s just Marks vanity project. Final nail in coffin.
It shows how out of touch a brand can be we you only let white men have a say.
Can we talk about Gap destroyed (laid off 57 designers) the design team and eliminated all of concept for this?
They treat design horribly and it shows in the product.
Maybe if they could look up from their spreadsheet and let the design have a voice the product wouldn’t look 15 years old.
It’s so disappointing for a brand that markets its self as part of cultural movements to give someone so unstable this platform.
They should condemn his comments about planned parenthood being a way of infiltrating major cities and a white supremacist organization. It’s dangerous not funny.
I hate working for this company knowing they AE giving millions to this man.

I like the lipstick on a pig description. And now with Kanye acting out again, there’s alienation on both ends, Gap customers and Yeezy customers.
Maybe a better try would be Yeezy x Esprit, or Yeezy x Carhartt
Can’t believe they cancelled the Telfar collab for this. As a former Gap designer I am SO disappointed in the brand.
I agree! This is a desperate move. The two brands don't blend well, and shows that Gap is having a huge identity crisis.
The partnership is desperation on both Yeezy and Gap - moreso on the Gap end.
Gap needs to revitalize its main offering before adding a partnership that will make its products seem “non Gap”. Same can be said for its foray into non-apparel.
