GAC screwed us over- twice

WOW- Talk about a company with absolutely no morals.
1- Was supposed to give 60 days notice if layoff more than 500 employees or provide extra 60 days pay if insufficient notice was given. Instead, they use the COVID-19 excuse to circumvent the WARN act.
2- Gave employees 45 days to sign and return their separation package in order to receive their severance. But they went ahead and told GDOL that they've already given out everyone's severance pay. Thus, we will not get unemployment insurance benefits as GDOL thinks that GAC has already given us severance regardless if YOU have or have not send in your separation package.

Don’t forget if you worked on the U.S. government projects they were screwing is out of pay and benefits per the contract. Glad to see they got caught. This place is so corrupt.

My lawyer said that the severance under the WARN act would have been less than what they offered. So that’s a non starter. The unemployment thing pisses me off. Until I get my severance I am without an income. GAC is screwing me out of my UI
