Get out while you can, I’ve never worked anywhere that truly hates their employees as much as Allstate does. Layoffs, the ridiculous “week without pay”, declining benefits, toxic fear based culture. I’ve never seen such learned helplessness and intentional ignorance in a claims organization. Everyone hates you, corporate, customers, shops, other claims reps. My rates also seem to constantly increase on my own personal auto policy, nice.

What’s keeping you? The week without pay was an adjustment. You still got paid...they just stopped paying you a week ahead.
Grow up. These layoffs s— but piling on irrelevant nonsense on top of it just makes you look petty. Allstate has been very good to me, and I appreciate the opportunity to work for them. They will be better served without the likes of you.
What do you mean we will have no pension ? If we aren’t played off. Which I don’t feel anyone of us are safe.
Over 20 years with the company and it only counts for 5% of the decision to keep me or not. Good luck to the young people - not only will you not learn the business of insurance but you’ll have absolutely no pension waiting for you either when you need it. I agree, get out now, wish I had.
