so i got the package they are offering me. here my problem.. they are paying me 4weeks for 4 years at one store i worked at.. but i worked at another store for 3 years prior ... shouldn't i be paid 7 weeks for 7 years? i took a year off back then so not sure if that messes it up... plus if they give you a big check and i report it to fun employment for that week shouldn't it skip that week.. your also being paid out after you sign it after 45 days... is there anyway to prolong that after fun employment is over?

I should clarify that my comment regarding severance pay and effect on unemployment is for California. Though it is likely the case also for other states but please check to make sure.
Severance pay will not affect your unemployment pay. So it is will be fine to report it when you receive it but make sure you specify it is severance pay.
"I was let go and received severance. was told it is a minimum of 8 weeks and a max of 26. so if you had 4 years in you should get 8 weeks. if you had 30, you would only get 26."
Severance for hourly is not as generous as for executives. You are quoting executive severance.

If you "took a year off" then no, you had a break in service. Your severance is based on you most recent service date.
If your break is over 91 days you are out of luck.
8 weeks for 4 years for me
That's normally how it works unless your service was bridged and that usually discussed when you rehire.
I agree with below poster. If you were on loa it would be the years of you coming back. I would call hr to confirm.
U had a break in service so only would get the 4 weeks.
