First time I got laid off from Macy's, COBRA was over $500 a month for me.

Usually cobra is over $200 a month way to expensive and doesn't cover a lot for me it cheaper to go to my Dr without insurance

Also, most healthcare companies offer financial aid if your income is lower......check with your current healthcare provider and see what their income limits are.

At the beginning of all company furloughs and possible anticipation of permanent layoffs, I believe the enrollment period is now open again for healthcare? Some experts advised also to NOT discount Medicaid. Do your research.

COBRA is extremely expensive. Look elsewhere for health coverage.
