It’s the same everywhere in all divisions.

I’m sure there are some really good teams with excellent managers as I’ve met a few but, by and large it’s just as you are saying.

No one wants to acknowledge ( typically at director level or higher) that they made a bad manager placement, so they just keep coving for a poor performer until someone new comes in to clean house, only problem, if the poor performing manager has a good line of bullsh_t or scapegoats, often time the newly minted director or vp buys his fish tale hook, line and sinker.

Usually by the time all of the major issues come to light, and the damage is so severe before any substantial corrections are made, the business unit is already losing or lost significant customer loyalty, suffering from obscene quality deficiencies, and in an unrecoverable tailspin.

I worked at Derby for many years and transferred to Montrose to help with the transition. I was to be there for 9 months, but after 2 weeks i walked out of the place because of the attitude of Colin Mitchell. He single handedly screwed up the Chemineer mixer business before it came to Greengate. He had a good group of guys working for him and didn't appreciate them. He treats everyone badly and his attitude stinks. I spoke to the sales director at the time and he was of the opinion that as long ad Mitchell was in charge that side of the business was finished. Mitchell is clueless and his management skills non-existent, hear now that he ruined the Montrose site to the point it closed, now he's down with you. Watch your backs guys.

No, YOU are not losing YOUR Sunday’s, they are your’s to spend just as you like, only won’t be at an NOV manufacturing facility getting paid for it.

The reason, simple economics!

They’ll have Chinese or Indians making them real cheap real soon!

You and those like you are just plain old OT wh_res and are s_cking the t_t dry!

Doesn’t say anything for the management.

A lazy ar_e is goin’ to do what it does.

There won’t be anything left for you or anybody else before very long.

No worries, you’ll get payed off and live off the government dole for I will till you find another s—er to take you onboard, you flea.

Redundancy first
There will only be a day shift on by the end of August so that’s about sixty off the shop floor and another 80 non producers like stores and office
It’s on the cards
