At least 7 cases in the Houston office so far.

I 100% agree about the masks in the conference rooms - should be mandatory. Someone with more power than me, please please please float this up to an executive so it will actually get instituted.

That's what I was afraid of. Unfortunately there are people out there that think wearing a mask is a sign of weakness. Shame.

Hold your horse on the masks. At NEC people are wearing masks - yes. But there are issues already. According to the rules you need to wear mask in the halls, public areas, etc. But then it is fine to take off your mask in a conference room with 4-7 other people for a 2+hour meeting. People are complaining that overall does not make sense and not even wearing their masks anymore. That is not safe and the rules are bound to fail in a 'Phase 2'. Heck, this is already failing in 'Phase 1'.

The rule should very simple to be truly No Harm. Once you come in the building you wear a mask and the only time you take it off is when you are by yourself in your own personal space (ie your office). Even if you are social distancing. Anyone that does not follow this simple rule will be asked to go home. And empower people to call others who are not following the rules. In the current layoff environment, who really wants to be calling other people and rocking the boat - argue all you want about this but that is the truth. Just remember, one of the company values is 'Caring', or at least used to be.

Yes, masks are used in the field and office. Temperature checks are mandatory at the office.

Oh yes. We had to shut down flow line crews in the DJ for 2 weeks due to an outbreak. And they had at least a case of exposure in Houston this week, and the same in Denver - both offices might actually really re-close.

I agree. If we have the option to go in, everyone should be updated - real time. So much for safety first.
