Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Tomorrow is a new day.

As I ponder this lay-off, I realized that I viewed the end of my tenure @ T as the end of the world. This is not the case, and no one should feel that way. As a matter of fact.. it’s the beginning of a new chapter. Get those apps in and handle business at your new career!

Started in 1981, I just hate to be there any more They have a stupid thought process. It breaks my heart to see what swbt was once and the stupid att is today. 39 years.

America doesn’t owe you anything! - unless you fit into some type of particular demographic here then you can have lifetime employment and promotions here forever!

@gsp, a true middle management sociopath. People like gsp are what makes this place such a toxic, mismanaged environment.

no sense of urgency with 1 ticket a day and 6 months of unemployment benefits..

Go get a job. America doesn’t owe you anything! Be a part of the solution, not the problem. Heck, I guess we are lucky you are one less union lemming on the payroll!

When is your lay off? Mines just a number on VSP's. Pending the number of a surplus on September with a 90 day off payroll date plus 6 months of unemployment... Way to early to put in applications if Im going to take advantage of 90 days of no sense of urgency with 1 ticket a day and 6 months of unemployment benefits..

All my 18 years of no write ups , always making numbers and end of year appraisal adds up to no retiring from this company.
