5th covid case in Clearwater

so the email says we take steps here at the site to ensure safe and ensure you have the facts and not relying on rumours. What facts? They tell you nothing other than upstairs or downstairs in a plant. They ensure nothing in plant 4 as the south entrance is free to come and go as you please without being checked - and many do, putting us all at risk.

Well that's 3 people from 103 building that are staying home due to exposure and everyone is silent who exposed them

Former HON employee here. I just had a COVID-19 case at my current company, and I am disappointed but not surprised at all with the stark contrast of how COVID-19 is handled at Honeywell.

Since my company was not legally allowed to disclose who the positive case was (though we figured out who it was by seductive reasoning), they at least did their effort to trace down close contacts, immediately sent anyone home who has been exposed for self-quarantine (pay is covered), and provided instructions on where and how to get tested (which is free) so that they can go back to work right away if they were not infected. Also, anybody who wanted to get tested can also do so and were provided details for COVID testing for peace of their and their families minds.

The way the COVID pandemic handling is described on this post, it looks like HON is doing quite the opposite and keeping everyone in the dark...

Moral Lesson of the Post: There are companies out there that are way better than Honeywell and actually take care of their employees. Get out while you can!
