I'm sorry but WW/Weight Watchers was completely UNETHICAL why didn't they fire us on March 29th or April.. They used us to Manage the Volume of members because of Covid-19 and ramped up Zoom coaches to be trained. So we made them $$$ during Covid-19 and creditability with Members. Then executed us on the way out... No severance for your years of service.. I love what one member wrote we can pay Daphne Oz, Kate Hudson, Kid Rock, give away our Wellness Wins to charity and hold FREE Oprah training. But we couldn't ethically tell our FRONT LINE team we had to downsize in a personal video Zoom hosted by Oprah and Mindy. The Senior Class of 2020 was more important than loyal former members and loyal employees who made your stock grow... Hmmm.. No Corporate Responsibility at this company. This is not a Wellness Company who cares about people.

Weight Watchers hasn't been a "people" company for decades - I worked for them in the early 80's when Jean was still alive after losing 35 pounds in 16 weeks. My meetings were over 100 members and we were free to improvise and create a very special environment they couldn't find anywhere else. The core of the company were the members, NOT the program. The goal of WW Corporate is for people to FAIL at losing weight because that's how they make money, by returning members - not successful ones. I went back to work for them in 2011 as a territory manager assistant - could see the writing on the wall long before Oprah hopped in. Corporate decided to re-distribute the districts and suddenly my district manager was fired in an email - after 4 years, my job went with hers. No thank you for your hard work... nothing (although I believe she did get severance) That's typical business, but WW is NOT a typical business. I'm sorry to those who thought otherwise... WE were there to care for the members.. the company could have cared less about US!
There is no 20/20 Vision in WW/Weight Watchers.. It's called Winner takes all and Corporate Greed at it's best. Why are they still hiring people, shouldn't there be a hiring Freeze on? When do we hold Corporations accountable for mismanagement of labor laws. Part-time no benefits and under paid. I was providing medical intake information in my position and providing health counseling to my members. I was disgusted when I had to upsell and force processed food on my UNHEALHY & Overweight members who are probably diabetic. This company is for fulltime employees, the territory managers "Hench Woman" and stock holders to get rich on a MultiLevel Wellness Company. The part-time staff was abused and underpaid. I learned a lot about an UNETHICAL so called Wellness Company and happy not to be affiliated with this brand. This is definitely not the Weight Watchers I remember. Im actually embarrassed to have WW/Weight Watchers on my resume and will rethink how I can right them off.
Hindsight is 20/20. People didn't know how long the lockdowns would last.
