I know at least 5 people (of all ages) RA’ed in my direct group... I’m sure I’ll find out more this coming week...

Correction to previous post: Forgot that IBM acquired Phytel in 2015 as well, so 4 companies were acquired by IBM to form Watson Health.

@1xfc: Actually, Watson Health came about as the result of 3 acquisitions by IBM - Explorys and Merge Healthcare (in 2015) and Truven Health Analytics (n 2016). Truven was the largest and was the one I used to work for. Glad I bailed soon after the acquisition.

I believe IBM bought Truven, and that became Watson Health.

What’s the company name that was bought by IBM to become Watson Health?

"Watson Health is a joke around IBM."

Some of us in WH, feel the same about other areas of IBM. FWIW, our legacy company was incredible to work for and really cared about its employees, which is why we choose to stick around. I wish IBM never acquired us.

I would think that with the current pandemic situation, Watson Health Business would be increasing.

If Watson Health was Ginni's moonshot, it's more like the Soviet Union's program that never got off the ground than Apollo
