@9nat who's going or gone then?
With the news of more job losses in these two areas, it makes sense now, why certain people have been moved to safer position's in the business recently.
Makes you wonder if previous culling events will repeat and the HR personnel who are doing the culls are then in turn told they have no job afterwards.
We are all just a number.
Who will be in the money? Up to £30,000 of any payoff is tax free.
@9nfr if you hadn't noticed, this website is called thelayoff.com, where people report news and rumours of layoffs, if you don't like it then maybe you shouldn't come here.
@9nat
this sounds like it a reference to those of us that have been in the consultation process which ends today. Lifes hard enough without the ill informed gossip mongering
Who went this week?
@9nc6 it's not actually, there have been lay offs this week.
If 3% of the workforce counts as large then guess thats true
Unsubstantiated information.
I've been told by a reliable source that there is going to be a large number of layoffs in Software Support and Hardware, looks like they're replacing Software Support positions in India.
Anyone have anymore information?
Remember this - Your future is created by what you do today.
F@ck Keyloop and their corrupt policies, people and processes.
You deserve better. Know your worth, work (or not) as to how well you are treated and respected. Take that sick day, week or month. You won't get rewarded or thanked for battling on.
Once you get out of the Keyloop rat race, you will see how blinkered yourself and others around you have been. At some point you have to decide between comfort and choice.
Your job is not as secure as you think. There are greater opportunities out there for you.
Keyloop just isn't a very nice place to work right now, always looking over your shoulder and wondering when your head will be on the chopping board.
The only happy people are the ones pulling the strings and the brown nosers who've got their faces sqeezed between the cheeks of some SLT.
@9n3c were not all privy to that sort of information, like i said decent people dont deserve to be treated like sh-t and there have been many many decent people shafted by this mob
As a previous poster said, the head of legal going, is a sign of something much more significant going on.
Bus and thrown under, springs to mind. Either that or he's been rogering someone.
@9mtg well when someone says they’re sad to leave it normally means it wasn’t their choice…doesn’t it?
@9n29 100%
Some of the decisions being made are outright ridiculous.
@9mt6
These decisions are clearly driven by short-term financial targets. Long-term business strategy appears to have been abandoned in favor of aggressive capital extraction, reminiscent of venture practices that strip value from formerly prosperous enterprises.
@9mqc , my reference was to the KLT, agree they are not all bad, Craig and Caz were nice people, hopefully they walked away not pushed by those my post was aimed at
They fire people based on costs and salary, without taking experience into account... it's a decision dictated by desperation and a situation out of control... I'm scared...
@9m9c that doesn’t make a lot of sense since the two most recent departures were SLT and were actually decent people .. don’t assume they’re all the same, that’s a dangerous game to play
@9mgy or they could use the usual government calculators available through .gov?
@9mmx when sales are talking to customers their USP is: “It’s still in beta” :D
Truth is, it will never get out of beta, as long as We have the current product- and engineering leadership teams.
Does anyone know how the new product is going? The information from official channels is just bullsh-t... rumors are talking about constant problems and delays.
For UK peeps:
There's a strict time limit on how long you can wait to start an unfair dismissal case (3 months minus 1 day from your last day of employment).
Citizens Advice offer plenty of free advice if you don't want to go via a solicitor.
There are specialist employment solicitors who will work for you (Monaco Solicitors are probably the best known)
Monaco have a settlement calculator that will give you an idea of how much redundancy money you should receive (it's on the website, so free to use)
Don't sign your settlement until you've consulted with a professional or Citizens Advice - if you go to a solicitor they will claim their costs back from Keyloop so it will cost you nothing.
@9m9c the article is about bolts hr being logically incompetant and not getting rid of staff that were not willing to pull their weight, get their hands dirty, so logically does not fit to keyloop, like you i agree we have been shafted by a truly incompetent and corupt group of suposed managment at the highest levels, one can only hope for a sale to maybe salvage something while there is still a chance
@9m7y the article is about the CEO laying off self entitled, lazy workers.
The problem at Keyloop is very different. You have people working their as--s off and not getting any reward, no pay rise, no recognition and no bonus, while KLT and SLT get the red carpet treatment for fVcking things up.
Problem is our CEO is part of that corrupt gang, it will take a sell for anything to change .
@9m7y so are you saying our HR team are going or is this a pointless post
https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/bolt-ceo-says-let-entire-211056311.html
@9m4n Who the he-l is going to buy this catastrophe? You would be better off with Keir Starmer at the helm or Liz Truss
Everything going well then I see for you guys.
@9m4n hope so cant be any worse than this sh-t show now
Getting ready for a sell
@9ky9 internal comms isn’t it? saw a post that she’s left
Head of comm's as in chief BuSSh1tter or head of networks?
Head of legal going sounds like someone's jumped ship and taken one of the few life rafts. When legal are unable to cover up the businesses failings and the head honcho disappears, you know somethings (someone's) going down
@9kn7 head of comms and head of legal. KLT seem to be losing the plot. Who will be next I wonder?
@9kk4 as most of us have no idea what your talking about please enlighten us who has gone
@9kht anyone else surprised by the latest departures?
AM Awards, the same keyloop faces turn up for a free night partying. Just a complete laughing stock with the other attendees. Once again won nothing and celebrate losing. The mood towards them at every table was worse than last year, keyloop is universally hated by everyone. Have some dignity and stay at home.
It is interesting, and also somewhat alarming, to follow developments in the OEM dealer network. A recent study by the renowned Institute for Innovation, Mobility and Business Structure – ETI – shows that within the next 2–4 years across the European continent (including the British Isles), there will have been such extensive consolidation in the OEM market amongst small and medium-sized dealers that ‘one-size-fits-all’ solutions will be useless, indeed directly harmful to the remaining dealers. This is due to a more complex OEM structure, but also because dealers will be forced to enter sectors other than the mobility sector, and in these sectors it will obviously not be possible to use, for example, an automotive DMS/IMS.
Unfortunately, this leaves Keyloop and other providers of mobility software in a difficult position, as these companies base a large part of their revenue on DMS systems.
I must say that this only confirms my view that we should already start looking around for other job opportunities – before it is too late. Yes, this call also goes out to you, my Keyloop colleagues, and everyone else from our competitors reading this page.
It seems that a great many women from Keyloop have been shortlisted – which isn’t quite the same as being nominated – for an award at the ‘Women in Motor Industry Awards’. At first glance, I’d offer my heartfelt congratulations, were it not for the fact that I know HR has been using that big AI bot to spam the nominations committee with a whole host of entries – a typical tactic also widely used by, amongst others, Indian phishing criminals.
Another thing that stands out, and which reveals that it is the HR team that has been at work, is that the women have only been put forward for the “Women in Motor Industry Awards”. How clueless and unambitious is that? Why not put them forward for the “Motor Trader Commercial Industry Awards”? Because, frankly, Keyloop doesn’t really care about the person – as long as the name Keyloop is mentioned. They probably won’t win anyway, as what Keyloop delivers is generally “rubbish”.
Imagine having a corporate – and therefore also a personnel – strategy based on a 50/50 split between women and men, even if it means hiring useless people (this applies to both men and women). HR might just be a tad too WOKE, or perhaps they simply don’t understand how to run a proper business.
