Have seen many layoffs and not surprised this time I received the call.
Windstream has been going backwards
and bad leadership for a long time.
It will only get worst.
Which Dept in service delivery?
I work at one of the top US companies now that I was layed off from Windstream. You know what our executives are doing to address the current financial crises? The entire executive team is taking a double digit pay cut. They have also suspended 401k contributions for everyone who is a high earner, 125k+, among other things. Their main concern is to protect their employees, especially those who make the least amount of money. I can't tell you any clearer how different it is to be working anywhere else but there. Leave for your own sanity and health.
These lowlifes need to get covid 19. They are hated so much.

Anybody want to bet these cost-cutting measures are directly related to KEIP/KERP bonus payment? TT knows the gravy train is going to end once we emerge from bankruptcy and the new board put new people in charge. He's going to milk every penny he can out this place, and it doesn't matter how many lives he destroys in order to get his money.

I was part of service delivery. My director said the total was between 75-100.
My last day is June 12th.
It has always been on Thursday before a pay period.
Rumor is about 80 people. Mostly SD.
