Strange. I've seen job posts (internal and external both) for GTS managed services tech jobs posted in just the past two weeks. Quite a few of them.
Why do you think that is? Are they this out of sync that they have open req's when they are about to cut. Or might these have been created to have "open headcounts" to cut this week, instead of actual heads? Or maybe to convert contractors to FTE's to save them??
It is a massive layoff across IBM US. Expect GTS to be hit hardest but cuts will be wide and deep everywhere. Rumored no execs though.
