UHG will start layoffs soon. Upper management is shifting and the bullying has begun to get people to quit so the company avoids “possible” lawsuits.

It's the BIG day today
6/3/2020. I hope & pray it's a good day.
tomorrow is the day, 6/3 and will be a massive layoff.
Optum Rx just had lay-off on 5/27, UHC will be laying off prior to 2d quarter earnings release. Management was told to rate their employees and find cuts. They are not hiring unless you live in the Philippines, Ireland and India. No USA jobs... cost too much. This company s...ks!
Completely agree with the bullying. Is and has been happening to me recently without sound evidence or real justifications to do so. Creating something out of nothing to get a write-up going and escalating the matter to a 30 day corrective action while hammering and tasking new projects for me to complete before my time is over. Wanting to siphon whatever I can give them before I am out. How does that make sense?! Would never recommend anyone to work here. Have other colleagues that have had the same thing happen to them and swore never to ever work here again.
This company goes through cycles of layoffs and has done so for years. They like to hire people and when they enough get to a good salary, the salary blimp is popped. They are also doing a wonderful job sending all out jobs to India. Many high level managers there are getting replaced by folks that have a very low English proficiency level.
It is unbelievable to me that they are letting go the people that know the business and keeping the mediocre pencil pushers that can't do, but they are really good at putting everyone else down
@1jyd+153bbJPd - You are an AWESOME team player!! I would LOVE to start a company and hire all the people let go from UHG. We could put UHG out of business with the talent they are letting go! Karma will come around soon! Can’t wait for the first lawsuit to his the news.

Yep. We had a meeting today about “merging” our department... which means layoffs

Within the next 2-3 weeks, no one knows the exact day. You will know when you go to sleep and wake up to a special meeting the next morning, that wasn’t there the night before. Best of luck, personally, I’m ready to put an end to this madness.
@1ceb+153bbJPd Just because he/she doesn’t have an exact date, doesn’t mean he/she is lying. They are probably gaging it based on the atmosphere of previous layoffs.
It doesn’t take a rocket science to recognize patterns.
“Soon” means you have no idea what you’re talking about.
