I was at 1430 Enclave and laid off. SLB direct employee. Along with many other coworkers. It's sad.
Yes, there are folks from 1430 Enclave who have been laid off.
There are so many transactions to fix in SAP that SAP IT is in high demand.
If they are laying these people off then they must have been too slow at fixing issues.
SAP is a mess right now.
Not everything will move to Pune, consolidating all in one location will shut everything down if something happens to that one location.
That said, nothing that went to Pune is coming back.
No matter how cheap Pune is, they will eventually feel the bite too. Just as expendable as everyone else, and even cheaper to let go.
Not what I heard. Both employees and contractors have been let go since late last year. After X1 all of you at Enclave are toast. Pune is the future.
VOLUNTARY Retirement to be re-hired as highly paid contractors later and some transfer out.
Only foreign contractors were let go.
