Anyone get their year end reviewed discussed? If so, any good news in terms on the outcome for the high performance employee, like salary increase or bonus?

DXC: run and ruined by c–k S U C K E R S.
I am a Level 5. My new boss, with whom I've barely spoken in the last year, and who barely knows me gave me an Excellent rating (the 2nd best rating you can get), based on inputs from a Sr. Manager with whom I've worked for two years. My boss had to do reviews for 100 staff members! How can he reasonably be expected to accurately keep up with 100 people? He seems to be a very nice guy by the way and I have empathy for him.
I am not expecting a raise. I honestly do not remember the last time I had a raise; its been at least 5-7 years. I've stayed because of my 20+ year relationship with the client, and because I was hoping to get employment with them. Well, due to COVID, industry shakeup, and company restructuring, there is no way I will get on with the client any time soon (massive layoffs). Despite the many issues with DXC, I am quite thankful to have a job right now, there are millions that do not.
For me, this is a good time to hang on, and seriously explore a career and industry change. Hopefully I will luck out with timing and shift in line with a DXC WFR that includes a severance package. Fingers crossed.
May the Force be with Us...
The process literally has no purpose at all:
1) Your scores are manipulated (down) by someone who doesn't even read your appraisal
2) If by a miracle (see point #1) you score an above average rating (1 or 2) there is no financial reward
3) Your appraisal rating has no bearing on whether you get WFR'ed
The whole thing was just a sh1t show to make the previous CEO's gf/fb/hr "director" have a pet project.
It costs the company millions of dollars a year to achieve actually zero, except discontent, mistrust and hate.
Salvino, send it to the bin NOW, stop the pretence that anyone cares about it at all. The only thing that matters is your country of employment and how many dollars you are paid. Nothing else matters, not how good you are, not how important you are in delivering service to your account, how hard your work, how "aligned your are to the DXC message".... just simply nothing, you are just a comparative cost vs doing it somewhere else.
Best I heard recently was how some un-named big cheese in the US wanted to offshore support of a couple of UK secure accounts.... its obvious why we pay that guy the big money....
Got exceeds expectations rating. No raise or bonus just promise I still had a job in the org change. Once COVID calms down I’m outta here.
I've heard Mike and co are taking a 20% cut to reduce costs and none of the financial objectives have been met. Paul S is taking a 45% cut still on millions even after the cuts.
All FPR scores lowed to match the curve that leadership want, the reason given is the results weren't great so staff can't be great, which of course means no reward. FPRs always were pointless but at least the corporate yes men believed they were worthwhile not even they can't pretend they have any validity, merit or point
Thank you for your great sense of dark humor.
My boss is also going to be laid off most likely, so there is no point having the review with him in any case. And raise, heh... Good joke. I haven't seen any raise since 2012.
Time to leave sinking ship i think. I just wonder why i have waited such a long time
I got told in the first sentence that there was no pay rise.
