Managers should be personally fined thousands of dollars see if the jokers do it again!! Wake up people start reporting your managers to the FRA!!
That’s not how it works. We only report on violations. Not exceptions. You have all the answers but you don’t even know how it works.
The FRA writes a report on each car/loco they tag. UP has to act on those And report back. Yes, they could tell them it’s closed and not do it but the FRA can go back and follow up on the item to see then.

How do they know? Does the manager call them to let them know, hey I just pulled the tags? Do you? How would they know if it’s done after they leave?

We have the same problem in Chicago. FRA walks a track and once he leaves a manager goes and takes all the tickets off. Only a matter of time till the FRA catches on
