I was laid off Tuesday. Said it was due to 25% department reductions. I Transferred from RIG so I’m guessing the new kids to CAPs had their numbers drawn. I was lucky though, I did get my severance for my years with NOV. But you wouldn’t have known I was a valued employee the way they walk you out to your vehicle and say ‘take care’ ‘we’ll mail you your personal items’! I get the feeling the severance offered is a result of a few 0ld-school HR decisions...the rest of it is the NOWilliams way of ensuring 2020 bonuses!
