Surprised they haven't used covid as a means to limit employee contact by having 1 man crews. Probably being written up now.

If you are in te&y and if you are not at least top 50% on the seniority roster you are wasting your time and life away here. Go get educated or start a new career because the days of the through freight Conductor are coming to an end folks. If you don’t believe this you are fooling yourselves. Many where I work seem to think it’s not going to happen and I feel sorry for them because it’s going to come and it won’t be pretty. There wont be any protection you will just be on the cut board for the rest of your life.
It is coming. Quickly. Everybody needs to be prepared for it.
You’re definitely not good at math.
1man crew = less managers, no crew= no managers.
It’s coming.
When will it happen? Where did you get your crystal ball? I must know. Or are you just like that Nostradamus fellow? Thanks for the info I guess I should start looking for a different job. Maybe you should too because I’ll bet your not as important as you think you are to this company.
Exactly. And it’s coming.
How about zero-man crews? No reason why the railroad can't be 100% automated. Many other countries and railroads have done it, and they all have fewer incidents.
Satellite trains are the rail buffs favorite.
Actually with the current national employment situation this is a VERY bad time to try to push it, even in the coming negotiations. Going to be hard to find a sympathetic ear when it comes to cutting jobs. Bad timing for Class 1 labor relations.
1 man crews is 1 too many. Go autonomous!
Hey look you’re an id–t
Oh look the UP intern troll is posting the same message as he did last week whatever shall we do?
